Restoring and housing such a large collection of exhibits is a very costly undertaking. The Ferrymead Aeronautical Society is a registered charity and is entirely funded through charitable donations, grants, and internal fundraising.

As is the case with all the societies making up the Ferrymead Trust, we do not receive support for restoration or maintenance activities from Ferrymead Heritage Park gate admissions.
